mods: inappropriate ad
I'm pretty sure I saw a thread about this earlier but I just had the "Jose can you see" ad show up in a thread.

http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/iclk?sa=l&ai=Bj4XGQdqARO3aGpeKpAKG2vyBDoqXrwyykoa4AcCNtwHAmgwQARgBIOGz9AFIjjlQrOaZ9gSYAZxKoAGOxIL9A6oBCjQ2MzkzNjQzMTmyAR13d3cuZGVtb2NyYXRpY3VuZGVyZ3JvdW5kLmNvbboBCTcyOHg5MF9hc8gBA9oBWGh0dHA6Ly93d3cuZGVtb2NyYXRpY3VuZGVyZ3JvdW5kLmNvbS9kaXNjdXNzL2R1Ym9hcmQucGhwP2F6PXZpZXdfYWxsJmFkZHJlc3M9MTAyeDIzMTk2OTKVAhQfSAo&num=1&adurl=http://www.snappygreetings.com/snappygrams/pc/viewPrd.asp%3Fidcategory%3D26%26idproduct%3D103&client=ca-pub-7805397860504090

I've pasted the contents of what you find there below.
It really seems like it DOESN'T belong on DU

Jose can you see
By the dawn’s early light?
Cross the border we sailed
As the gringos were sleeping.

What broad stripes and brights stars?
We like red, green and white.
On the day that we marched
We were gallantly screaming.

And the rally was where
We waved flags in the air
As proof in daylight
That our flag was not theirs.

Jose, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of weak knees
In D.C. no one’s brave?

4. There is nothing nasty about that song
I thought it was funny. I think some people in here are too quick to find fault, and need to quit being so sensitive about everything.

3. Google has strict rules about hate sites
I imagine a few emails to google will result in them pulling the add - from the entire internet

6. I wouldn't say it crosses the line into hate, but it's damn offensive
and intentionally divisive.

Playing-up on the "divided loyalty" GOP talking point about immigrants waving the flags of other countries and proclaimining, "your flag isn't OUR flag!"

I think it comes damn close to that line.

In any case, please click on the link to the site and make them pay for the click-thru.

7. I didn't find it offensive
What I DID find offensive was for protesters DEMANDING their "rights" while breaking our laws by being here illegally in the first place and then waving THEIR flags instead of American flags. They had to be TOLD to bring American flags to the next demonstration, and I as an American, found THAT to be very offensive. Nuff said.

9. Many of the protesters were American citizens
Nobody had to "tell them" to bring flags to the demonstrations.

8. there's nothing humorous about that song in the context...
...of attacking hispanic immigrants. Nothing wrong with my sense of humor. That's just not funny.
