Larry King Live: Hackett just repeated Murtha jumped the gun.
I don't give a shit if he's Kimber's lawyer. This is not acceptable! He's a TV whore now with no awareness of the value of Murtha making the case to get out of Iraq.

Murtha gets lots of firsthand information from his contacts with active duty officers. He has never been wrong and he is angry.

Hackett came down hard on Murtha. He said that Murtha's office hasn't returned his phone calls. I wish they could get together and talk things through. I think that could lead to some accord or understanding.

As we said in the 'Nam, payback is a motherfucker. Hackett is tactless, and politically naive. He can suck up to the media whores and tell them what they want to hear, but he will be just another turd in the sewer when they are through with him. But that will not stop him from getting his payback.

Didn't he earlier say that Murtha needs to "get back on his meds?" Even Republicans aren't being this vicious in defending the Haditha massacre. If he's trying to topredo any chance of a political future in the Democratic Party, he's doing a pretty good job.

The fact that Hackett is dissing Murtha without actually being a real man and saying he discussed the issue with Murtha is enough of a clue for me that he really is a deceptive Repug down underneath it all.

I don't trust him... he just needs to declare himself for what he is so many that bit into his fruit can move on.
