As a nation, as a culture, as a society in the modern world, we really ought to be ashamed of ourselves for allowing things to get this screwed up.

I certainly don't know what to do about it, except be ashamed.

1. Ah, yes. But what is our alternative?

2. It's a shame. Impeaching Bill was easy.
But to even entertain the notion of impeaching W is instantly shot down.

6. I was completely in favor of impeaching him until yesterday. ASAP.

3. Speak out.

Freeway blog.

Show your disdain.

Demonstrate.

If you are truly ashamed, silence is not an option.

4. I will, for as long as it's still legal.
I feel like slapping folks in the face to snap them out of their stupor.

5. I'm over it.
I don't expect any better either.

Election fraud or not, about half of the voters voted for him.

I caught a brief Howard Zinn clip on Liberty News where he mentions that we are basically on the way down anyway, and it will probably be a good thing for humanity. I guess Chomsky agrees, his new book Failed States is supposed to make the case I guess, although I've not read it.
