Crazy stupid FReepers and their signature lines
Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 06:24 AM by paagal kutta
I am guilty of ocassionally jumping into the freeper sewer to check out their take on developments. I don't know why though, for their responses are all too predictable and idiotic.

US troops killed innocents in Haditha?
Its TIME's fault for printing the story

Monkey stole the Ohio vote?
Nah-nah-nah-nah - lookit those whiny LIEberals

etc etc

However, of late I have also started taking a look at their signature lines, and some of them are so fucking funny, or downright weird, i gotta share them with you all. (yeah yeah, i *do* have a lot of time today...)

so here goes (user name followed by sig) -

2. The second one tells me...
...that's its a Monty Python fan. I thought Python would be far too subtle for these types, but you learn something new everyday.

3. I sense a disconnect
between brain and reality. I read some to my husband who asked, "Are none of their IQs above double digits?"

4. Interesting enough...
Some are a window on their underlying opinions, and like all repug beliefs, rational people are often facinated by the question of how in the world do they come to believe such tripe.

Seems strange to me that the pugs keep beating the apparently dead horse over Bill Clinton. I mean he's long since off the stage, but they're still obsessing about him. Aside from doing a fairly decent job (tens, maybe hundreds OF THOUSANDS of times better than any Repuglican President we've seen), and, for that matter, unfortunately doing it in a fairly centrist manner (though not appreciated by those on the right), he simply didn't do anything for them to be really upset about. Nevertheless, they're out to dismantle everything he ever did as well as trying to destroy his lingering public image. The venom, the hate, the rage they seem to hold for him is just amazing to behold. Many of these people seem as though they are either from another planet or perhaps supernatural--in that they seem to be capable of body temperatures in the thousands of degree's--in that they look like they're so angry they're positively glowing white hot (tempting to dump a bucket of cold water on them to see if it bursts into steam)(or just for the fun of it). Glowing with hate, over what seems like nothing. I wonder if repugs suffer with higher frequency of heart disease or stress related ailments or does it serve as a way to relieve their internal pressure?

Anyway, I wanted to mention... I think you're onto something else as well with the first part of your post...

US troops killed innocents in Haditha?

It's entertaining to see their opinions boiled down to their essence (or lack thereof). A few of us (perhaps very few, I don't know) don't find their "thinking" to be as predictable as you do--though definitely idiotic. I don't know, it's some kind of weakness, but I find their thinking to be entirely alien and nearly random--at least when considering some new event they always seem to manage to focus on some bit or other that I would never have considered or considered important. Anyway, as I found just the couple of renderings you mentioned interesting, it struck me that a whole list of such repug opinion reductions on a long list of important subjects would either be instructive or at the least, entertaining.

Anyway, thanks for the creative look at yet another dimension of repuglican behavior.
