CNN's Jack Cafferty read my email!

It was his 5 pm question - "Do you trust the honesty of America's election process?"

Here's what I said (not exact) -

I voted in my state's primary election this March.

There I stood in front of an electronic voting machine while the poll-worker explained how to use it. When he was done, I asked him "How do I know my vote gets counted as I intend?"

He stood there looking puzzled then said "trust, I guess."

Well, that's not good enough.

They really get a kick out of those messages, and I think it's a way to say what they'd love to say.

Hopefully Dobbs will cover the Sequoia part of the issue tonight too. Was there any coverage of e-voting or the lawsuits on Wolfie's show or in Cafferty's commentary before he read the emails?

.....elections where the writer said, "Yes, I think we can trust the results of our elections. If you think there is any question about the fairness just ask President Gore." Yes, the message specifically mentioned "President Gore".

The most clever stated ones for sure. It is amazing that at least on segment of the MSM is finally reporting the truth about how the American people are really pissed-off at this mis-administation. The *idiot* has finally and completely "jumped the shark."

We (New Jersey) are voting with electronic voting machines for the first time in tomorrow's primary - I don't know if there's a paper "receipt" but I'll be sure to ask the same question if there isn't.

When I did - the poll worker, an elderly man, was completely stumped. It was as if he had never even thought of it. He then went out in the hallway while I was voting and told the other workers what I had asked. Sometimes asking a question prompts people to think. :hi:

I believe they had up "Trust the Vote" or something like that when he read the e-mails. A play on "Rock the Vote", etc.

sparosnare! That's getting to the heart of the voting matter. They want us to trust them that the machines are doing it correctly but "they" haven't earned our trust.. in fact, just the opposite is true.
