"This is a Republican Rehab message for Donald Rumsfeld. Those of us in the recovery community have been wondering for a long time when you're finally going to hit rock bottom. Frankly, nobody has taken this long...ever. And now, after the slaughter in Haditha, we've got to ask: Aren't you done yet? Please, for all our sakes, call Republican Rehab--you've got to take that first step and admit you have a problem. Or in your case, admit you Are a problem. Then you can move on to the second step: believing that something greater than yourself can restore us all to sanity. That should go quickly because almost anyone but you can do that. Then, actually, we'd appreciate it if you'd just sort of skip ahead to step nine: making direct demands (that involves quitting--like...NOW...). We'll take care of all the other steps later. Republican Rehab: because the rest of us already admitted we have a problem. Our problem is you."
