Just Voted in the NJ Primary

I pull into the library which is the polling place in Westfield, NJ. News 12 New Jersey, channels 2 (WCBS), 4 (WNBC) and 7 (WABC) from New York are there. Um, what is going on? Well, I look around the crowd of news people and there walking into the polling place is Tom Kean, Jr. who is most likely to be running against Bob Menendez in November for Senate. Nepotism is running rampant here in NJ.

I am leaving the building after casting my vote for Menendez. The cameras were rolling and Kean was asked a few questions. I am right behind him. I look at the cameras and say "vote Democratic". Gee, I hope I make the 5:00pm news!

I was number 60 and it was already 4:00pm.

I was number 3 in my precinct. At 3pm my brother was number 8. Voting is light down here in Burlington.

turn out seemed pretty light.
