666 Back by popular request...........
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 04:51 PM by Joanne98

He snorted cocaine ... He dodged the draft....His friends knew him as an alcoholic womanizer with a bad temper....a complete failure at business until his wealthy friends rescued him. Yet within a few short years he was elected Governor of Texas, and quickly catapulted into the White House in spite of losing the popular vote. Then he was re-elected with last minute help from Osama Bin Laden, in spite of high disapproval ratings. He still couldn't think his way out of a wet paper bag without the advice of his staff .....and yet he's been able to declare an endless war and institute some of the most radical changes in American history ....

....... How has He done it?

I submit to you that George Walker Bush is the ANTI-CHRIST. The violence and destruction that began when Bush first entered office, is now certain to culminate in the apocalypse, as predicted in the Bible over 2,000 years ago.

( I first posted this on Geocities over four years ago, before the 2000 election, to sound the alarm. Tragically, nobody listened. Now the World Trade Center has been hauled off for scrap, the Constitution is in tatters, and our nation is off fighting a Holy War in the Middle East. Today, the final end is nearer than ever before..)

The Bible shows us a way to prove whether or not a person is the Antichrist. Rev 13:18 says: "Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." That is, the number 666. St. John the apostle, the author of Revelation, was a Jew who wrote in Greek, but he thought in Hebrew. He knew that every Hebrew letter has a numeric equivalent, and that's undoubtedly how the number 666 originated. Gematria is the process of adding up or counting the letters of the Hebrew alphabet in a word or name.

1. He has all the markings of the Anti-Christ. The bible says that the
Anti-Christ will fool some Christians. I can't believe that there are people out there that call themselves Christians and think this SOB was sent from God. It makes me crazy! But you know Hitler fit this mold as well.

4. no he's not the anti-christ.... just a good poser
About thirty years ago I was discussing Revelations with my father. I was about fourteen then and had already dug up numerous artifacts and help locate a few unexploded 500lb dudes in our neighborhood as well. The discussion arouse after I had dug up a nazi belt buckle in our yard (army brat -- Grafenwohr) and I had noted the "Gott ist mit uns" that was embossed on the back of the buckle. I had read the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich was well as numerous other texts on the subject. I was growing up there and did my best to take advantage of our location and study the topic. I remember struggling with trying to understand how Hitler had pulled it off.

Well anyway, he explained that they had failed to understand that the book of Revelations was not God's plan but rather a warning about how societies collapse. He also mentioned at that time that the absolute worst insult you can pay to a Christian is to call them a "fool" because God has warned them.

Needless to say my parents are practicing Baptists who have bought heavily back into the church again. After numerous seminars in '98 & '99 about Armageddon and the Millennium, they now fully believe everything that is happening and was predicted by Revelations is indeed God's plan and they support it because they will be raptured. I don't talk to them much anymore. I'm trying to avoid calling my sixty-eight year old father a damed fool.

They've been neuro-linguistically programed. They go to church every weekend for neuro-linguistic refreshers. They've been brain-washed by their church. Seems like Christianity has shifted into a full fledged form of insanity and is actually now a doomsday cult. After some thirty years I now understand how Hitler did it.

There is a recent boom in beliefs. I like Edgar Cayce. His relatives run a center in Virginia.

15. Actually
I am familiar with a number of different belief systems and I'm still a Christian.

What I believe is that we are to help each other out as much as possible and to live a virtuous life.

What will happen, will happen.

22. Well...
actually he gave a new word to an old idea. It's "caught up in the air" from I Thes. 4:16-17 so it's not even in Revelation and most End Times Believers (ETBs) don't even know that. They think it's in Revelation.

But yeah, most people's understanding of the event isn't scriptural.

Hal Linden actually popularized the whole thing back in the early 70s and several others picked up on it.

I think many people like the idea of not actually dying some day, they can bypass that if Jesus comes and gets them while they are still living.

24. He is one of the Nephilim
The Nephilim were described in ancient religious texts 2200 years ago, including The Book of Enoch and The Book of Jubilees (found among the Dead Sea scrolls.) The Nephilim are the descendents of The Watchers (also mentioned in Genesis) and are described as charismatic, which makes them especially liable to become our leaders. God wiped out most of them in The Flood, but allowed 10% of their number to survive, and they are destined to be the source of all evil and suffering on earth. They like bloodshed and violence because it's in their nature. The Anti-Christ will likely be one of the Nephilim.

Kinda fits him to a tee, doesn't it?

27. "In the 7th year of his reign" ...
I recall hearing this about the Antichrist and Armageddon. In the seventh year of the anti-christ's reign, all hell is supposed to break loose. Let's see. That would make it ... 2007.
