Limbaugh falsely claimed Clinton approval rating "was down in the 20s"
Yeah right 20% approval rating from what - Rush Limbaugh listeners (I'm assuming that the 20% approval comes from the 20% of the Rush Limbaugh listeners who are progressives who listen to the show to see what kind of dumbshit he'll say next)

http://mediamatters.org/items/200606080004

Summary: Rush Limbaugh downplayed President Bush's low approval ratings by falsely claiming that former President Bill Clinton "was down in the 20s at one point" and suggesting that Clinton had "parallel poll results" to Bush during the equivalent point in his second term. In fact, Clinton's approval rating never dropped below 36 percent, and remained above 58 percent in the Gallup poll throughout 1998, the equivalent year in his presidency to 2006 for Bush.

From the June 6 edition of The Rush Limbaugh Show:

LIMBAUGH: Bush's approval numbers are up, folks. This is the Gallup Poll. The latest USA Today/Gallup update on George W. Bush's presidential job approval rating finds 36 percent of Americans approving of the job the president's doing; 57 percent disapprove. This represents a modest improvement in that measure from recent weeks, a finding mirrored in several other national surveys. In early May, just 31 percent approved of Bush, marking the low point of his administration to date. A subsequent poll in May found a 33 percent rating. Now he's up to 36 percent, which is in line with his public standing in March and April. So, modest improvement.

Tracking back up -- imagine if you went back and looked at several other second-term presidents at this time in their terms, you'd find almost parallel poll results. We know that Bill Clinton was down in the 20s at one point. Jimmy Carter was way down. Reagan was down. This is really -- really not unique.

2. He didn't lie - he just left out the qualifiers
Like 20% approval from fat overbloated, drug-addled assholes with anal cysts on their butt! Limbaugh actually found 5 of them and one actually liked Clinton

3. If my boss disapproved of my work 57 percent of the time
I'd be fired. And Limpball is bragging about it? Wait until the coming recession hits and see how low the approval numbers go.

9. I think that was a poll from....
people who absolutely love the war but have found every excuse in the book to never serve.

There was 20% of those folks that gave Clinton the thumbs up because we went to Kosovo but the other 80% were the Trent Lotters who believed that it's ok to support the troops but not the president provided that president was not of your party

11. Good ol' Rush. If he can't stand reality, he just makes up a new one.
I think my favorite "Rush Lie" was the day he was screaming about the Canadian
health care system.

"If the Canadian System is so good than WHY, Oh WHY do the Canadians send some of
their patients to America??"

(They do it if the Hospital, that will perform the Surgery, is much closer to the patient
than the Hospital that is in Canada....Like if the patient is close to the border and transporting the
Canadian patient would cost more.

But (of Course) Rush never Mentions This....

12. During Clinton's First Year in Office
Right after the gays-in-the-military fiasco, his approval rating dropped into the low 30s, and it's possible that some polls had him slightly below 30% at one point.

The difference is that Clinton had the capability and political skills to bounce back from that and earn a 60% approval rating when he left office.

16. Ah Yes, I Missed the "Second-Term" Qualifier
even during the worst days of the Lewinsky scandal, I don't recall Clinton's numbers dipping anywhere near that low.
