F***ing media are forcing hard a Bush bounce
They seem determined to "reward" Bush for catching Zarqawi by giving him a decient sized bounce over this.

2. Call the TV ...
and radio stations and let them know Zarqawi's death is small potatoes and does not change your views on Bushie and his policies...give him the thumbs down..

3. It will regardless
Support for the war will go back above 50%.

Same thing happends in a football game. When you are losing, you are down. You are bashing the refs, bashing the coach, bashing the player that fumbled the ball..

Then your team scores a touchdown...then you 100% behind them to mount a comeback and win the game. Suddenly it becomes the best game you've ever seen.

6. That's assuming...
the insurgency will cooperate and stay quiet for a few days, I have my doubts about that.

9. It is a significant death
Everyone knows that Zarqawi will be replaced. That's not a question. The problem is that when you destroy a leader, his followers don't automatically go to the next guy. It takes awhile for that next guy to wrap his arms around his own lieutenants, let alone the followers.

12. That is true...
and that is assuming that he hasn't already been replaced. Somebody ratted him out, more than likely it came from within, so who was it and why?

18. Well Al-Masri is probably the next guy
Al-Masri is more of an international terrorist than a regional one. He is blamed for attacks in Africa, the mid-east, Israel, and Europe.

Zarqawi was more limited to a single region, Iraq.

Al-Masri's attacks though were during the 90's and early 2000's. Since then the organization hasn't been as strong. So it is unlikely he can go international. Most of Zarqawi's guys are also limited.

Masri might get more support from the top leadership. He is much closer to Bin Ladin than Zarqawi. Masri's daughter is married to one of Osama's sons.

8. I wasn't aware that Bush caught anybody
Does this mean Bill Clinton gets a pat on the back for "catching" Tim McVeigh.

I think I'll be watching DVD's tonight.
