God, what a great report. This is something I get to rub in the face of all these fucking cocks who make up facts and say the sites encourage drug use.

1. Rub away HEyHEY! The self-righteous
pricks deserve that and more. Compassion is sadly lacking in too many people these days.

I wish there were sites like those everywhere. My ex- issn't using the needle, yet, but has a severe opiate addiction (4 - 600 mg. morphine daily). There needs to be more places to help outpatient addicts here in the US. He couldn't get on the methadone program because his addiction doesn't use needles! Hardcore is hardcore.

Do Canadians seem to take a medical view on addiction or is it like many here and addicts are just *weak*? I do believe that fighting addictions does require willpower, though I know it's an illness.

2. Depends on who you talk to
What we do have is a lack of the whole "War on drugs" idea. So alternative ideas are accepted much more easily.

4. I believe Canada is much more tolerant of
personal choices than here in the US. It always seemed to me to have more of those that mind their own damn business. Maybe I've misinterpreted much, have I?

Hopefully the bullshit "war on drugs" takes a nosedive here someday soon.

And I so wish we had your ballot system!

3. Bravo to Vancouver for leading the way.
Safe injection sites work.
