What strange power does she have, to get away with this? Lou Dobbs was just this side of Sean Hannity in his Hero Worship. I will write him and tell him, don't try to be thoughtful to me, Lou Dobbs. I expected it of him. Only Keith Olbermann is left, I guess, and Stewart and Colbert. And maybe Howard Stern; I have not been a fan, but he is tough enough to stand up to her. No one else, unfortunately, is able to confront her. I was genuinely shocked by Lou Dobbs' interview, but not surprised at all by the wimp Tucker Carlson. Except he went with open collar, instead of bow tie.

I agree with you on Tucker. He's a weasel, but compared to Dobbs' slobber fest, it was better.

He ended his career tonight. He will never be taken seriously again. At least, I thought he had balls. I was wrong.

I have watched him almost nightly for at least 2 years. I'm not sure what you're getting at, but let me sum up what I must not have made clear: I sent the Lou Dobbs show an email saying that if he had that bitch on I wouldn't watch. This thread is letting me know that he did have the bitch on, so, I'm sticking with my decision (made all by myself) not to watch him anymore. Is that "novel" enough for you?

he appeared to be when he focused on outsourcing..BUT that was primarily to tout a BOOK he wrote...Lots of libs thought he had seen the light, and was on our side.. (we had and still have so FEW people in our corner, we are eager to praise people who seem to be intelligent)


Lou is STILL the blustery xenophobe he always was.. Once the book promo was done, he went right back to trashing "illegals" and kissing up to all his right winger buddies..

Lou IS a bit of an "old school" republican, and still is miffed about the trade imbalance, but in most arenas, he is firmly on the side of republican-think..

I never, ever understood why he is so popular here.

I'm not saying people shouldn't watch him. It is good to get news and information from all variety of outlets, just so long as people know that Dobbs is a right of center source of news and analysis.

He has gotten some praise around here from time to time but I have never trusted him.

Stern is interesting. His war with the FCC radicalized him to a certain extent. He is very anti-Bush. He thinks the Iraq War is a mistake and was never necessary. He recently had the Dixie Chicks on so that he could apoligize to them for the comments he had made about them during their anti-war protest against Bush.

He also came out against the Death Penalty after being for it for so many years because he came to realize it is not meted out equally. He also believes that Bush's religious agenda against gay marriage and stem cell research is wrong.

Of course, he still likes to have farting contests and watching women undress, so the man hasn't abandoned all his principals.
