why did Gas just jump up 16 cents?
It was 2.89 yesterday morning and this morning the same station is 3.05. This is a Citgo. I thought killing Zarqawi was supposed to "ease tensions" and drop the price of oil.

4. They had gas lower because of primaries in several states but they're over
just wait until after November and you'll see gas go through the roof if Republicans keep a majority in the house and senate.

9. Because it's Friday
Everyone getting out of town for the weekend will get gouged.

I noticed that around here (Detroit). The cheapest days to buy gas are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. By Thursday, they are raising the prices for the weekend (and also, thursdays are paydays for so many, so lots of people are filling up).
