If a person hanging himself is an "act of war"...
Then there is definitely a psychopath somewhere in the chain of command.

1. good to know
this isn't being simply 'brushed aside'-
To claim that the 3 men who succeeded in killing themselves while in the 'care' of the US- despite all sorts of high tech crap, and having force fed those on hunger strikes against their will, killed themselves in an "act of war" - is ludicrous beyond belief.

There are many of us who would be seen as 'failed terrorists' using this kind of rationalle-

I cannot believe people are not grabbing hold of this 'twisted thinking' and forcing us to look at how depraived we've become, when we attempt to minimize, and twist the desperate actions of hopless human beings as 'acts of war'.

God forgive us.

2. yeah, that is ridiculous on its face
But then so much is when it comes to this administration. I guess, to them, any sign of dissent from any quarter amounts to "war". Sounds pretty totalitarian to me.

3. Stalin used to institutionalize anyone who questioned him
The theory being that anyone who dissented from the policies of a madman must be mad.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the 21st century successor to Uncle Joe: George W. Bush.

7. I heard on NPR
That now they plan to take away the sheets from the cells during the day and return them at night... Question: cannot people hang themselves at night? Am I missing something here?
