1. It would be a unique change if we had representatives rather than leaders.
But, I've been called an unrealistic idealist to think such silly things.

5. They still show up now and again to pick up their paychecks
the nice big fat ones both sides always agree on.

9. Oh, that's right...
Can't forget the payroll or the health care they get, and all that time on C-Spans spouting about this and that, but doing nothing beyond worrying about gays, flag burning, drugs in baseball, building useless border fences and alike.....

10. Yep, they'll be on the public dole long after they've destroyed
the economy and helped redistribute all the wealth upwards.

Welcome to DU. :hi:

3. If we do not go to Public Financing of Elections we will continue
to get a Corporate Congress. Bought and paid for; thus working for BIG MONEY only

6. I'm proud to say that my Congressman is
LLoyd Doggett and not even Tom DeLay could get rid of him although the bastard tried with his redistricting.

12. I really don't think they're ALL BAD! For sure some are and
should GO! I detest the ones who vote strictly on party lines no matter what, and that means Dems & Pubs! There's a damn reason they make speeches, but nobody listens!

I want a Dem majority back because I THINK they will at least ry to improve the Country!

John Rothman (KGO radio) was talking about this this morning. He worked in the Nixon WH. He said he was so very disappointed in Nixon, but at least the Congress, back then, got together and told the President enough is enough"! Both Parties came together in support of the Country! Shame, shame, on them now for beig so partisan and ignoring the distruction this WH is causing!!
