Are they sending these to everyone?

Or is it bigger than they have admitted?

With my military history, I would have thought my info would have been held in a much more secure fashion than the regular enlisted personnel.

I think they sent the letter to everyone in their database, whether they were at risk or not.

Will this be the one teeny little thing that just might cause some
Repug veterans to "get a clue" in November?

7. Oh...I think they are lying about the numbers.....
Edited on Mon Jun-12-06 08:58 PM by MadMaddie
they always have lied and they always will lie to try to cheat fate....

I think Veterans are going to be a huge part of the 2006 and 2008 elections.....and for the Swiftboaters I think they are going to be outnumbered....

17. Oh, that's easy
According to the census, there are 26.5 million living vets.

According to the VA, they lost 26.5 million names.

You do the math.

Gee, I wonder how that little tidbit escaped the attention of the intrepid network news hawks?

11. LOL, you act as if current leadership cares about ANYONE!
They also made it harder to qualify for free medical services at the VA. They leave our fellow vets in Iraq long after enlistment is over. They could care less, if we die after their through using us. Big John cares because he served with honor but he isn't running things.

24. I think they are sending it to everyone. I suspect the CD or DVD must have
had the data for all surviving vets and dependents. 26.5 million people is a lot, it's approaching 10 percent of the U.S. population for heaven's sake.

I got that letter this weekend.

25. If you applied for any kind of benefits,
it doesn't matter when you were discharged.

So I don't know whether that is the only trigger.
