The Daily Show is definately recycling content
I thought it was just Deja Vu at first, but I've definately already seen this thing about gas prices with the hummer limo.

2. Not complaining, the Zarqawi bit was hillarious
I just find it weird that they would recycle content and try to pass it off as new. I'd expect Jon to be like "Okay we got lazy today so we're going to show an old clip".

3. Yeah I don't watch TDS much but I noticed that segment was old too
now Stewart's interviewing Flatulent Earther, Tom Friedman. I CAN'T WATCH THIS SHIT. Is Mr. Flatulent getting called out on his amazingly wrong calls on Iraq, Bush, and the M.E. in general?

4. They do that from time to time.
If a segment doesn't make it through editing by deadline, they'll swap in an "evergreen," something that's not time-sensitive. Sometimes they'll have a few unbroadcast evergreens in the can as backups, but if they don't, they have to fill the time with something even if it's been used before. It's rare, but it happens. Print publications and radio both do it, too.

And that Hummer limo bit is TOTALLY worth showing again, I loved that segment.
