...There is no arguing with a woman who lost her husband in those towers.
There is no argument when listening to Cindy Sheehan talk about her love for her dead son.
You are totally right, Ann, and I understand your frustration- your wanting to kick and scream and throw tantrums at having been rendered completely impotent by the TRUE strength of REAL women. Your machismo act... dissolved by their well of the deepest sorrow and dwarfed by their ACTUAL courage.
They are everything you ever wished you could be. But you are not them. And until you walk (but for the grace of god) a mile in their shoes, you never will be.
It must be so hard to realize that you can write as many books as you like, appear on as many shows as you have, even the cover of Time magazine... and still be at square one... still wishing you could show Daddy just how valuable you really are.
Anyway, i think it is very good that you have conceded.
PS... A bit of sad reality for you, Ann. Men get to hang in there no matter how they age in your industry... look at Rush and Bill. But for the women, it is an ugly end for those that sold their soul... You are aging. Those men in suits who pay you to come give them lipservice will start to whisper behind your back... Your lipstick will start to make its way outside the lines and the next thing you know, you're Katherine Harris... a fuit bat with a boob job and a lollipop thinking everybody still wants her around. You might want to get out now...
(i just had to get that out so i could sleep)
