Why have we not heard from Fitzgerald?

This seems unusual since this is of such importance to many Americans. Wasn't that our tax dollars that paid for an investigation into who outed Plame? Once again this mind is boggled.?

2. Because his investigation is not complete.

This is the kind of guy who makes sure all of his i's are dotted and t's are crossed before he makes a public statement. Yeah, I hate waiting too, but I'd rather wait and have him do a thorough job.

GOPpers are jumping up and down, but I'm waiting until the statement to draw an opinion. Somehow, I think the statement will be, as Sgt. Schultz used to say, veddy interesting.

4. So it's still ongoing - since he has indicted Libby

and he will not try to indict Rove then I wonder what else he is investigating. He might still be looking for who outed Plame except bush pretty much said he declassified the info that she was a secret CIA, undercover agent and the undercover corporation she was working for. Hummm?

6. Fitzgerald hasn't said anything about Rove

The only one saying Rove won't be indicted is Rove's lawyer.

Until it comes from Fitzgerald's office, it's pure speculation and propaganda from Luskin.

And if it is true, it's a good bet Rove rolled over on someone (most likely Cheney) to keep himself out of prison.

12. The media is certainly treating the story like it is gospel

If Rove rolls over on Cheney that could work out pretty good for the "bush" and the election since Cheney has served his purpose as president and not very well either. Fitz would have to be quick like before Nov. to make Cheney the scape goat. Cheney is full of money and needs to spend more time resting his pacemaker.
