Well, The CIA Leak Case Isn't Done, So Let's Concentrate On 2006 Elections
Maybe, just maybe that's one reason this came out now. I can hear it now:

KKK: Yeah, this is sweet. The Dems will cry about the injustice, the lies, and whine, whine, whine, while
we lock up the votes this fall, and you know what that means jeffie, don't you?

jeffie: Yeah, we'll have it easy, and there'll be NO investigations or impeachment of *, and delay will
be reinstated, along with everyone else, and that "goddamned piece of paper" (Constitution)
won't get in our way any more!

KKK: Oh shit.

jeffie: What honey (KKKarl)?

KKK: Guess the Dems didn't roll over and die. They didn't fall for my evil little, desparate plan.
You know what that means jeffie, don't you?

jeffie: Yeah, we can kiss, lick, and suck each other forever and ever, amen.

KKK: Ahhh, maybe it isn't so bad being fucked after all.

1. We'll Lose. But It's Still Hopeful To Dream.
I know I'm going to take a lot of crap for this comment, but I realized some time ago, the way things are.

Perhaps someday it will change. Maybe we can save this country before it's too late. But certainly, by then, things will be much different than they are now, with even more of our liberties gone bye bye.

I don't see any chance of us winning control of either house in November. It would be wonderful, and I'll surely get flamed for being negative, and how I should make an effort to make a difference, and help the dems.

But I'm not a politician. I have my own problems. I can only say what I see, and express how I feel about this country and the administration. I have a single vote, which I exercise every election, but I'm not at all sure it is counted...or matters in the end.

If I had to guess, the Dems will pick up a few seats, but not nearly enough to gain control of either house. Then the next 2 years will continue as normal, with no possible change until 2008. Maybe we'll win then, but who knows. I think that this country has made it's path, and will continue down it, regardless of how us liberals may think.
