Oh, about that head.....
So they got Zarqawi's head in a frame for the photo shoot. I heard a commentator mention the oddness of this. Now we learn Bush has a secret trip to Iraq. What we can assume from the video back from Iraq is that Bush got HIS ego stroked and since Osama's head was never delivered--well, now we know the symbolism of the frame huh?

1. Now, you think we're tough enough
to be able to watch our soldiers' coffins come home at Dover AFB?

Ya think?

Or are we just good enough to look at dead Jordanians?

2. It was pretty grotesque wasn't it....taking him out is one thing

but gloating about it and displaying the photo of his damaged head...while our soldiers are still there....not so good....with this administration...for every action there is a violent reaction....

I watched his speach while I was eating dinner and it was all I could do not to spit at the TV....He said to the soldiers, "We are fighting them over here so we don't have to fight them in our homeland"! Since when did America become a homeland? Umm...every time he says this...it incites the terrorist to want to plan another attack on US soil.....

Welcome to DU!!:hi:

4. I thought it was disgusting also...
Do you remember when our troops in the Black Hawk Down fiasco....do you remember the uproar from the American public as our men were dragged through the streets....

I am afraid our troops are in more danger because of the antics of this administration...

6. And does anyone else think it strange that the picture appears
to show the head as still resting on the rubble from the bombing when we now know that:
1. They cleaned him up for the photo shoot.
2. He lived for 52 minutes after the attack.
3. At one time he was on a stretcher while they tried to administer medical aid.
