On Monday, we need to SWAMP entire Senate with calls supporting withdrawal

Kerry and the team are NOT GIVING UP just because Frist is a dishonest, slimy majority leader. But, the rest is up to people, no CITIZENS, like us.

We spent a month forcing Downing Street Memos into the media. We turned a certain confirmation of Alito into a filibustered nomination.

We can do the same with the withdrawal plan - at least get it heard DECENTLY and not turned into the cut and run lie by the GOPs and certain Dem opportunists who use the WH framing to attack Kerry and Murtha.

The WH does NOT want the American public to hear this REAL withdrawal plan, because they know that if the public had a vote on it, they would CHOOSE this withdrawal plan.

The Senate vote unfolded unexpectedly as the second-ranking leader, Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., introduced legislation he said was taken from a proposal by Sen. John Kerry, the Massachusetts Democrat and war critic. It called for Bush to agree with the Iraqi government on a schedule for withdrawal of combat troops by Dec. 31, 2006.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said if the United States withdrew, "I am absolutely convinced the terrorists would see this as vindication." He predicted terrorism would spread around the world, and eventually reach the United States.

Democrats sought to curtail floor debate on the proposal, and the vote occurred quickly.

Kerry and other Democrats accused Republicans of political gamesmanship, and promised an authentic debate next week. He and five other Democrats were in the minority on the vote — Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, Barbara Boxer of California, Robert Byrd of West Virginia, Tom Harkin of Iowa, and Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts.

2. I've had to recharge my cellphone twice today already
I've been calling nonstop between the Pentagons 74 page crib sheet to the prowar side, and the debate on Iraq.

Told most of the House of Reps aides that I tought the house reached the absolute ZENITH of stupidity with the "Freedom Fries" resolution until I READ todays Res 861. What an utter and complete load of hot air and horseshit. I asked each one if THEY had read it (none had).

Maddening.

And yet MSM will likely portray the "debate" as proof of democracy in action....

or some such swill.
