I don't think these Congressmen are taking these things seriously. Their argument seems to be: "no cut and run! Support our troops!" They seem to just be rejecting using their brain. These things are too important for something huge like this. Their insistance to continue to occupy and kill Arabs based on some jingoistic feeling could ignite a world war. Muslim revolutions against all of their regimes that support any American interest, terrorism worldwide...

I don't think these assholes get it, do they?

1. Osama & Friends prayed for Bush's re-election for that reason
they WANT jihad, and that trigger-happy Texas bozo is delighted to "bring it on"

2. Bush's backers, the RWFundies WANT that. Rapture would come that
much sooner. They do not care if the end of the world comes tomorrow. That is another reason they do not give a damn about conservation and global warming!!!

3. Nope.... they don't get it.... but they do get your tax dollars, your
neighbors blinding support, your privacy, your childrens childrens futures (in debt), cheap illegal immigrant labor, a rise in their stocks that they hold in companies that make machines for killing, as well as a pay raise whenever they feel they are a tad underprivelaged. They do not however, get the important things.

4. I know a Muslim who would kill me if he found out I am bisexual.

The war has been going on for a long time already.

I'm just worried when they stop spewing hateful remarks and start killing us here. By now he knows.

I'm not keen on death because of some religion the one doing the killing prefers to cherrypick.

BTW: I found out from his brother, who volunteered the information. You bet your sweet bippy I'm scared. He was very devout to his religion. I was also in complete and utter support of him... until I heard the bombshell. I hope you can understand why I see no reason to support a person who would kill me, thank you all the same. (and, yes, there are some Christians equally psychotic. The rant can apply to them too.)

And you know, if people who wanted to hate would find positive things to do instead of maim or kill, we'd all be a lot better off. If he hates fags, that's fine by me. I'll take a wife. Help me find one. See? No problem. No fuss, no muss.

5. It is the USA is the only SUPERPOWER thing that invades their
minds. Yes, the USA could take on any given country, but, there is a globe out there that no longer needs and sadly desires our trampled on values anymore. Those in Washington just don't get it! The world is moving on and our country is NOT!!

The coalition of the willing and bribed can be bribed by ANY country willing to BRIBE!

The US is in the last throes of our supremacy, and, it is probably a good thing. I don't hate anything, including America, but we have little redeeming qualities anymore.

I remember a thread on here that talked about, is the world conspiring against us, I really think they have had enough of our 300 million telling 5 billion, what to do and will continue to bring us down.

It really is sad, because, at one point in time we were a beacon of light in the dark, but, now we are the dark.

7. Some ugly facts -
The muslim world is about 1.5 billion people. For every one of us, there's 4 of them. Indonesia has the world's largest muslim population, and they are not happy with the way things are going right now.

They're extremely disgruntled about the shabby treatment they've gotten and I can't blame them.

That's not even mentioning the Middle East where we have lots of puppet regimes (Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Kuwait etc etc). These countries are simmering on the brink right now, and I don't see any good news coming out of them.

You're right: these asses don't get it.
