The June 50 state Bush approval polls (37% national average)
The weighted average is 37%, up from 33% last month. So the little spoiled brat got a "bounce". But as I look at the numbers, it appears that much of that bounce can be attributed to an increase in his approval rating in Texas: 42% in May to 51% in June. Texas being the 2nd biggest state, that is going to have a measurable effect on his national numbers. The other states mostly hold steady.

1. What strikes me is that his highest approval percentages in Bush
states are low compared to his highest percentages of disapproval in Kerry states.

2. There are a lot of soldiers in Texas and a lot of military bases
2500 dead as of today....there will be more soldiers killed and those numbers will not stay that high....

when you have tony Sno(t)w saying that 2500 is only a number and dehumanizes the soldiers lives and their sacrifice....people are going to start getting pissed....

And net -29% approval.

Arkansas-- the red state with the greatest buyer's remorse. They thought they were getting a Cadillac, but finally realized they got a junked out '62 Falcon instead.

4. Yeah, he picked up a point here
but he's still down nine points from last year at this time, so that's very good news. Having a Republican president be in the negative approval column in Alaska is fantastic.
