"The Democrats are debating EACH OTHER over Iraq"
I must have heard this 10 times from 10 different mouths tonight on MSNBC.

You know what? Good for them! About time someone debated.

The chickenshit rethugs are content to provide no arguements, no debate, certainly no oversight on the administration and that is why we are in this mess to begin with.

Not every Democrat has to agree with me. At least they have an opinion rather than sitting with their thumbs up their ass like the republicans and blindly going along while the idiot king squanders our world standing, our real security, and our economic welfare of our nation.

Some Democrats want more troops into Iraq, to help stop the violence with overwhelming force, some want to withdraw troops to the borders to force the Iraqi army to stand up, but still be close enough to provide support, some Democrats want to bring the troops home now. While I agree with the latter, I respect those of different opinions. There are very few Democrats that think we should "stay the course" which really means let the adminstration continute to flounder in their clueless wonderment. Practically ALL of the republican lawmakers like the way things are currently going in Iraq. 2,500? Just a number, right??? Ten times that have been severely wounded.

So go ahead Democrats. Spout your ideas even though the do-nothing republicans will never let any of them see the light of day-- at least it shows you care what is going on. Republicans have more raping and pillaging of the world and the assets of the United States to be worried about such things as the safety of the troops, the interest of the public, or the general welfare of the United States.

3. the corporate media is so helplessly mindless and lazy...rather than real
investigation and journalistic integrity, they repeat rw talking points and have a democrat and republican (usually the same faces daily and weekly) for a fair and balanced discussion of the issues. This usually entails 2 minutes of debate that is never followed up with hard probing questions and is cut of by a commercial break. But missing women, missing honeymooners, and serial killers get hours and hours of prime news time. It's actually scary when you think of how our news is filtered, watered down, and utterly useless.
