So what is the GOP platform for Nov?
More death and destruction?

More blood and corruption?

More fear and hate?

7. Democrats are Pansies
Yes ... that just about sums it up.

The radical Republicans won't campaign so much on specific issues as a general notion that you cannot vote for Democrats even if you agree with Democrats because Democrats are too weak to be trusted.

And that is the one thing that might work.

When you can get only six Democrat U.S. Senators to call the bluff of the radical Republicans and vote to get us out of Iraq, then that strategy might succeed.

And do you think the Dems in the House today will call their bluff? No, probably not.

Until Dems understand that they have to fight for what they believe in, Rove will manipulate the voters into believing that the Dems are too soft and weak to be trusted.

That perception can only be changed by the Dems deciding they've had enough and will fight back.

And just thinking about this makes me just furious with Hillary Clinton and her cuddling up to the right ... Man, there is your big problem. There is just absolutely no reason for ALL Democrats in Washington not to be supporting the Murtha resolution on redeplying the troops (its a very, very moderate idea) ... but they don't. And that is where Rove pounces to say the Dems are pansies and indecisive.

8. I expect a barrage of personal attacks
from now to the election.

The effect is they put the DEMS on the defensive and you waste so much time responding and reacting to their attacks, you can't get anything positive done.

I think that's what happened to Kerry. People say he didn't respond to the SBV's soon enough, strong enough, etc. When in truth he wasted too much time responding to them and defending his past, when he/we would have been better off ignoring them and staying on message instead.

9. They don't need a platform.
All they need to do is distract and smear to keep the polls close until November. Diebold will do the rest.
