3 days since the "Iraq War Summit"
Anything yet? I looked around the internets but I don't see that anything came out of it.

Was it too much to assume that they might even imply that there could possibly have ever been anything wrong with what they did?

Was the whole purpose of it to give W cover to whisk off to Iraq?

I see that CNN is wondering aloud what the political ramifications of the Republican House's non-binding Iraq war resolution that is in day TWO of speechifying will be for Democrats

Oh that must be the results of the War Summmit.

This is not your grandfather's Malta.

1. I've developed this theory
that Zarqawi's death, the 'iraq war summit' and Bush's visit to Iraq was coordinated damage control regarding Haditha, I bet the Iraqi PM was being pressured to ask US to leave.

Remember our 'UN Mandate' says that our troops can be there at the will of the Iraqi govt.

You notice that the Haditha story started dying when Z. was killed, and was mentioned no more after * returned from Iraq.

2. Hmm I also noticed that the Sgt.s lawyer was all over the air waves
getting his side of the story out. So now that was the last anyone heard of it and soon when this pops up again the prevailing opinion will be that it is basically already settled and there are those who are just trying to make political hay out of it.

I have also come to realize that these guys (the WH) operates complete in the margin of the benefit of the doubt. By that I mean the area that you automatically jump over to start your consideration of motive and the next step. The "oh I don't even want to think about that" area is where they are by the time you get around to realize that once again the darkest nastiest pettiest little WIN was the goal all along they have moved on. Think about that and see how it continues to come true.

3. Gee a summit of the Arab Nations in the region
Isn't that exactly what Kerry said needed doing immediately back during the 04 campaign? Bush* poo pooed it and the Media all begin saying Kerry needed to ask the world for approval before America could act..
