Un freaking believable

A Minnesota firm loots well intentioned donations for 9/11 victims, sells them for profit, AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!!!! And I'm from Minnesota, and ashamed at the moment. Apologies to the rest of the country.

Any theories as to why they escaped prosecution?

1. They must be Republicons
The Cons feel free to steal from the public, and then to "forgive" themselves.

I'd bet a doughnut these crooks are republicons

4. Because, according to the article, some FBI agents
and Donald Rumsfeld would also be implicated in taking artifacts from Ground Zero. The FBI couldn't investigate a case that would implicate themselves.

God forbid the Justice Department step in and find someone else to investigate this.

3. I am not shocked? People will do any thing.
Sometimes it is just bad getting old as you tend to have seen so much of the evil in the world but do recall that their are also good people in the world but just not in power right now. Greed seems to be a good thing, or it is getting away with it is 'the thing' right now.

6. I read this story first thing this morning...
... and it made me absolutely sick. Completely.

Stories like this have contributed to my ever-shrinking faith in America. Whatever happened to doing the right thing? Whatever happened to honor over dollars?

Sickening, sickening, sickening.
