3. That would be sweet if someone could actually
propose this, or even something similar that sounds superficially more polite. :)

4. The repub house bill currently being argued is nothing but an insult
To us. Nothing will come of it, it's just an official looking way to stand up and call us unpatriotic cowards.

6. I know. And it should be against house rules somehow
to propose legislation with the sole purpose of humiliating house members. Democrats would get reamed for it, but Repukes get away with it.

This proposed bill of yours would cause every talking head in the US to explode with indignation, but where is that indignation today?

7. I hate war.
I don't care if it's a democrat supporting it, I hate this war.

It's just so jingoistic, this hurling the word coward around, while real men fight.

13. maybe those heads
are the ones that need to explode.
Instead of our sons, daughters, neighbors, friends, and countless unknown, little remembered innocent bystanders in Iraq-

And the forgotten Afghani soldiers and civillians....

Talk is cheap-
especially, when someone representing the WHITE HOUSE can make the statement "its just a number" when refering to the lives of those who no longer walk this earth because of *'s 'resolve'.-

"Stay the course"???- fine- get your ass over there, and stay over there if that is the way you feel- let our people come home. Now- with what honor and dignity, and hope for a normal life they have left.

Those who want war, should fight- not send others to do their dirty work. And then refer to them as numbers..... my god...!!!!

17. I wonder how presenting this as an actual House Res. would work?
I mean if it were reworded, and properly submitted by a guy or girl on our side?

18. Indeed.
Too old to fight in AWOL Junior`s worthy cause? Tough. Offer up your kids. They`re too old? Tough. Offer up your grandkids.

Here`s the question I`d like every ankle-grabber in the MSM to ask after some Republican hawk touts this splendid war.

Which branch of the service did you serve in and how much combat did you see?
