Does Lieberman Actually Think He Can Beat Lamont With This...?
I'm not sure I even have the heart to ask my Lieberman pals what's up with this. Lieberman's trying to show CT Dems he's not out of touch but he's showing them he's out of his mind. http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/008765.php

The new ad brings another modern Beltway campaign attack mode to Connecticut: Bush adviser Karl Rove's strategy of taking your own weakness and turning it into your opponent's weakness instead, through relentless misrepresentation of facts.

2. No, LIEberman thinks he can beat Lamont with the help of all the Dem
leadership. I don't doubt it. The Dem leadership supports Joe, just as much as they support war.

3. Good lord, that's AWFUL!!!!!
Weicker was, if you ignore party affiliation, probably more left that JoeMentum is today. About the only thing that hideous piece of crap will do is make small children feel sympathy for the little Lamont cub.

Who's giving him advice? It sucks!

4. What a jerk!
joementum is the one who is the lapdog (for Bush). :wtf: is he thinking!

I hated that ad in 1988 and I hate it today. Hated it so much that I actually voted for Weicker. The only repub vote I have cast in 25 years of voting.

:grr:

6. When was the last time anyone in Connecticut thought about Lowell Weicker?
Edited on Fri Jun-16-06 12:23 PM by Jack Rabbit
My God, that is ridiculous. It doesn't even make sense.

If I were a Lieberman supporter, I'd wonder what this is about.

7. Just like his buddy Bush
He doesn't have the gall to appear in his own ads. :eyes:

What a pathetic worm. If Lieberman had any dignity whatsoever he'd be ashamed of himself.
