Records: Press aide knew online chat risks

BARTOW, Fla. - In Internet and phone chats with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl, a Department of Homeland Security press aide talked about underage sex, boasted about his job and called President Bush a "liar," according to transcripts released by prosecutors.

Doyle resigned from his job shortly after his April 4 arrest on charges of trying to solicit sex with an underage child. He has pleaded not guilty and is free on $230,000 bond. If convicted on all counts, he could be sentenced to life in prison.

The transcripts say Doyle wrote to the fictitious girl: "hey it is illegal ... and it would be exciting and forbidden ... you are young — illegal — and gorgeous. and it would be great. fun. food, laughter, talk and yes sex."

The transcripts also quote Doyle as saying he met Bush, adding, "nice guy but not a good president ... he is not very bright and it is evident ... bush is a liar ... there were NO weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. total lie to go to war."

What an idiot (except he was able to discern Bush's credibility correctly).

In both cases he knew what he is doing was wrong, but he could not or
would not stop himself. He also lacked the self control to keep
his mouth shut about it. A heck of a choice for a national security post.

Maybe one day soon we here will get life for using deadly cyber words. Did I say deadly? A drunk driver who kills a child would get a lot less time.

My closet friend works for DHS at the main campus and every morning he got a breifing from this guy. He told me that that only thing he knew about him was that he was divorced and that his children were grown up. Nobody had a clue that he was engaging in that activity. It just goes to show you that you really never know someone as well as you think you do.

Pedophillia is sex with prepubescent kids, if it's with teens it's statutory rape. he's an exploitive asshole but he's not a pedo.
