said that there were 3 at the checkpoint. when nearby soldiers heard the gunshots they went to check it out and found the one dead GI.

And the people get pissed off, and they can't hurt the Bastards in Suits, so they take it out on the People in Uniform. And the Bastards in Suits just don't care, and continue to say that it's WE who don't care. No, I care. About the people who did nothing, who were promised liberation and given destruction, and as the backlash now comes, about the People in Uniform being dragged to hell on the coattails of the Bastards in Suits.
