How many tours can Bush force the troops to take? At some point, don't they get to come hom automatically?

1. I've met soldiers about to be shipped off for their third
In a state of endless war you need a steady supply of cannon fodder.

5. As many as he wants
The only way to come home automatically is either in a box or with pieces missing, and even with pieces missing it's no guarantee!!!

7. I think they can send them as many times as they want.
Also if their enlistment period is up they can stop loss them to go more times. My sister's friend is in the Army Reserves and just got called yesterday to be deployed in Iraq for a term of 12 to 18 months. We are all scared to death.

8. How many tours can Bush force the troops to take?
He can send them back to serve another tour as many times as he needs the Department of Defense to send them....The Commander-in-Chief has the power to do that until some sort of resolution is in place in.
