If you visit your state forum, you will find a post entitled as follows:
The Naming Names Project: XX Dead Soldiers from (Your State)The list(s) do not include the latest three folks, whose names I am unaware of at this time.
Details on where they were stationed and how they died can be found here:
http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/forces/casualties/index.htmlUnderneath it will be the AGE, HOMETOWN, and NAME of the soldiers from YOUR STATE who have died in Iraq.
The list is valid as of 06/16/2006 (minus the most recent three reported casualties).
I urge you to peruse the list. Are there any people from your town? Did you or your kids go to school or church or work with any of the men and women who are "casualties" from our involvement in Iraq?
To be blunt, has this war affected YOU yet -- is it PERSONAL yet?
Take a look at the ages of the folks we lost. How old are you? Your children? Your friends and family?
Again, I ask you this question: IS IT PERSONAL YET? Or are these people just numbers?
Here are the people whose hometowns we don't know:
