Damn google adds! they are locking up my browser these damn

things have decreased performance by at least 30% so we get bombarded by right wing hate adds. If they
can't serve the crap up then get them off the page!!

I just ran AdAware, and cleaned everything up. Then I came on DU, and hadn't logged in yet. The info bar at the top of the browser (IE) said it was blocking a pop-up, yet a pop-up appeared anyway.

About 1 minute later AVG pops up telling me it found a virus. I started AdAware again, and right off the bat it finds 7 critical objects.

I wouldn't mind the ads so much (which I turned off anyway), but if they're going to infect the computers of people who come here, then they should ditch them.

10. They really screwed me up too.

They were driving my hw firewall apeshit. I worked with it for several days but ended up turning the ads off. What browser are you using?
