Swiftboater contributor just threatened to Swiftboat...me! oh oh
Now they are swiftboating private citizens?

This guy posted this in response to a blog post I made on the Young Turks and it kinda freaked me out:

"If I google for Dynamic Dems, I can probably find all mannner of disinformation that you've spread around the web. I'm thinking about gathering together a few indisputable facts, so I can go out on a debunking mission.

Think of it as a small scale Swift Boat operation. By the way, I'm very proud to report that I contributed a heck of a lot of money to the SBVFT in 2004. They had to have cost Kerry more than 300,000 votes in Ohio....dontcha think?"

How creepy is this?

1. Very typical.
They try this shit with me all the time, only I could give a fuck what anybody thinks about me, and use it to infuriate them.

15. I don't like it when they send nastygrams to my ISP
and accuse me of spamming or cyberstalking or any of a number of net violations. The "evidence" is generally so clumsily faked that my ISP doesn't even bother to contact me about it. When they do, it's more in the spirit of "better watch out for this lunatic" and "we thought you needed a laugh" than any real threat to my service.

Still, if the threats pile up, an ISP can consider a customer not worth the trouble.

Right wingers are petty, mean spirited and vindictive. They can't stand up to any sort of examination or debate, so they attack.

25. Fortunately, White Rose is its own ISP.
When they send letters of complaint, they come to me.

2. Didn't congress pass some harrassment thing?
Just like the corps taking people to court for badmouthing them - supposedly individuals can now do the same?

And yes. Creepy. Sad part is, there's more of these creeps than we really want to admit. For some reason the internet just brings them out of their hidey hole. And, sad to say, the righties aren't the only one's guilty.

3. Euuuwwww.
But the fact is he's right. The swift boat liars may have cost Kerry those votes. And so did Blackwell too

4. Sounds like a threat to me
I would let this bozo know that you are turning this info over to the appropriate authorities and to your attorney for further action. Let's see how big he talks then.

5. I did send an e-mail to the YT site asking they remove his post.
I'm just a bit freaked out that he went off the deep end like he did. First he was pretending to be a liberal who just didn't like Kerry. Then he just went off and admitted he was a swiftie contributer.

8. FWIW "contributed a heck of a lot of money" to a conservative

is about two bucks. They're so tight their asshole squeaks. The freeper website fund drives usually raise enough money for them to buy a Big Mac.

9. He is just an idiot
It was T. Boone Pickens of Texas along with a home builder out of Dallas that paid for the
swift boat shits not that little piss ant.

Hell, for some work I did for One Thousand Reasons I got some really great hate mail.
I never knew that I am gay, I have aids, and that writer wished that my lifestyle would
cause my health to break down.

Don't worry about it. Just get in touch w/ the owners of the blog and ask that he be banned.

10. Just a bunch of meaningless RW yakking, since when has the other side
ever been known to get facts? I been dealing with 2 bushbots and 3 fundies in a forum, same thing first try to confuse everything with talking points. Then bring religious dogma out to prove they are more moral. Then when all else fails bring Clinton up as if thats the answer to everything. After all job outsourcing was started after Clinton got a bj. Or flag burning became a problem because Clinton got a bj. And the war against christens started because Clinton got a bj. Plus the fact that gays didn't come out of the closet until Clintons bj was made public.

Though Clinton did sign NAFTA, remember Clinton also made a signing statement that NAFTA would not go into effect until Mexico was at equal wage levels with the US, NAFTA was going to happen weather Clinton or we the people wanted it to happen. Clinton hoped to put a safe guard in place then shrub stole the 2000 election and took all of the safe guards out. Just to remind everyone what really happened with Clinton and Nafta.

13. Clinton was responsible for all that!
That must have been some BJ! :D (I agree with you on Nafta. Clinton gets slammed on half-truths over that.)

Idiotic! They can say what they will, but we had a surplus when Clinton left office. I shudder to think how many trillions we will be in the red by the time Shrub leaves office.

19. FYI, the Dynamic Dems website is listed as "Untested"...
by siteadvisor.

I'm seeing more and more Dem-related sites with that
specious listing.

Makes me wonder who runs siteadvisor.

24. Hmmm...I never bothered to check.
It is fairly new. (I had a free page before and just moved the content over, but that's starting from scratch as far as siteadvisor is concerned.) Maybe it takes them time to check new sites, but I put in a request. Thanks for the heads up!
