BBC "caging" list story explains lack of conspirators coming forward:
Think about it:
You want to help out the RNC and so you go volunteer to stuff envelops for them. The only sign you were participating in the biggest conspiracy in American history, "Do not forward" written on the envelops.

This is the most genius plot in American history. It operates the same way terrorist cells do, tell people only what they need to know to do their jobs. No wonder there aren't any people coming forward and admitting being a part of the conspiracy, these people don't even know they were pawns. It is highly unlikely anyone will remember seeing "Do not forward" on envelops they stuffed.

Of course they should have been a tad suspicious of what was going on, why would a political advertisement be sent first class and not be forwarded? I guess you don't ask questions when it is your party.

I wonder if these people are guilty of a crime? Interesting.

1. I'm so tired
of asking "why isn't his being covered on the news?". It's disheartening, really. And don't tell me the Repugs aren't setting up another Election Theft with the sudden occurences of missing records we've been seeing. What better way to get a couple hundred thousand extra ghost votes than to re-register people using their own private information? The GOP must be MIGHTY worried to be resorting to these blatant tactics. Doesn't matter, though, if they pull this off. And with our non-Media's complicity and unwillingness to do their f*cking jobs, they just might. Again. (sigh)

2. We simply don't live in a democracy anymore...
I was a skeptic of this kind of thing, but even I believe this. This is so very sad. America is dead.

I just don't know what we can do to stop this. If the elections are fixed, how do we change things? There doesn't seem to be a way, at all.

3. The envelops may even have been left blank until after the...
contents were added.

4. I'm really, really sorry to ask, but I don't understand
I only know of this from your description, and I've reread it three times now.
What is the significance, or conspiracy of "do not forward"? can you please explain it to me?
I'm not trying to be mean, I honestly do not understand. If I'd seen the story, I might get it. Maybe include a link?

I understand NOW, though not from the OP, that the list is to set up challenges later.
I still don't understand what "do not forward" has to do with it?

7. ok, FINALLY found the right link
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1454119

you know, guys, it would help if you would either explain things more completely, not assume others have read every thread here at DU, or include a helpful link.

I finally understand, but it was after an annoying search through things I would not have had to do, just to understand the point.

8. I guess because they want it to come back so they can list that person

make them vote provisionally. (So they can later throw out the provisional ballots?) I wonder if they would have challenged Ann Coldturd at the polls because of her address screw up.

So if anyone wonders what the wingnuts are doing while we are over here ripping each other to shreds over Jason Leopold, here is our answer.
