I recommend this movie to everybody here. Finally, an easy to understand explanation of global warming. (President) Gore is my hero!
My thoughts when I saw this movie was that this is why the oil cartels wrestled the 2000 election away from Gore, even causing a riot in Florida. It's quite clear to me now that big oil did not want Gore in the White House simply because he knows so much about global warming.

on edit for spelling and rambling.

2. Good point icymist
The oil cartels are therefore responsible for the murder of this planet. Premeditated, cold blooded murder.

Gore was so clear in his message and we all have to do more to save our planet. Starting with getting rid of the nay-saying, non-believers in Congress.

We can do this.

Sonia

3. going to see it this afternoon...
can't wait!

It's a partial present to the man of the house for Fathers Day. After the show we will be dining on green coconut curry soup at a vietnamese restaurant - one of his favorites ever.
He's a happy camper right now. ;)

and we'll be accompanied by some of our favorite people in the world. One is my mom-in-law, who is partially blind and deaf but still wants to go the the theatre to get what she can from the show. bravo, for her!

can't get better than that.

5. I've admired and respected him for so many years.
After this movie came out, I was in total hero-worship mode. I'm there with you on this.

What surprised me was his sense of humor, while always there in a dry, witty sense, has blossomed. He also brings an authority to the discussion while allowing you to observe the conclusions to be reached.

6. Yes!!! Al Gore has a sense of humor! It was great!
And I just loved the little cartoon by 'The Simpsons' artist/creator, Matt Groening (I know I mis-spelled that) I believe.... I recognize his work anywhere.
