"Wait wait - don't tell me"
Edited on Mon Jun-19-06 11:09 AM by question everything
is a hilarious program on PBS that I normally miss unless I happen to be in a car on a Sunday afternoon.

But yesterday, while at the gym, I did listen to it and ended up laughing my heart out.

First there was this quote:

"They should have known he was up to something when Bush told Camp David guests 'I'm going to read.'"

That was the Hotline newsletter, suggesting that President Bush's cabinet should have figured out that he was going to go where, instead?

But the next quiz was about recent ads for the caller to guess which was a real one. His immediate reaction was: you are kidding, right?

Well, no, the correct reply was an anti-syphilis campaign by the LA County Dept. of health, starring a red sore. The description was hilarious. I wish that I could find this one online.

On edit:

Found it, Phil the Sore http://www.stopthesores.org/
