Maybe I'm having reading comprehension problems here. Actually I've been accused of that here before when my posts are at their most erratic edge of my spectrum.

But Charlie GIBSON, a DEMOCRAT??? I don't THINK so!!1 Perhaps the event is only about lobbying for NY. Or is there ANOTHER Charlie GIBSON??/ Another, 3rd, parallel universe explanation is "consider the source"----the wingnut, MURDOCH, NY Post/Page Six.

One possible upside: If freepers get convinced he is a Dem, they might "Dan RATHER" him off the air.

BahBwa WahWah, too??/

TOP OF THE DEMS

THE local Democratic machine turned out its heavy-hitters the other night to convince Democatic National Committee exec director Tom McMahon that New York is the best place to hold the party's national convention next summer. The lobbyists at Rockefeller Center's Top of the Rock observation deck included Jessica Seinfeld, Charlie Gibson, Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal, David Dinkins, Mario Cuomo and Barbara Walters, who vowed she'd take McMahon out after the party and get him loaded, plus Candice Bergen, who was celebrating her sixth wedding anniversary with her real estate developer husband, Marshall Rose.
