2-1/2 hours of pure ecstasy! As a folk music fan, a Springsteen fan, and a liberal, this was the best concert I ever remember seeing (and I've seen a few). I literally had tears of joy in my eyes. My hands are swollen from uncontrollable clapping, by throat is sore from singing at the top of my lungs. Bruce reminds us of the rich heritage of our country. The labor movement, the civil rights movement, the folk music from many immigrant groups were represented.

I see last night as a real patriotic orgy. Celebrating what is right with our country, and showing anger at which is bad and wrong. (this is far different than nationalism...America right or wrong)

My limited writing abilities could never describe how great last night was. The Rude Pundit "http://www.rudepundit.blogspot.com/" does a pretty good job. Also for you younger folks, he gives a good description of what Springsteen has been doing wrong lately, and why this album and tour are different. My 15 year old daughter and her Friends saw Springsteen as a joke (a caricature of his former self). This new band combined with the old, old songs have given him new life, She was blown away by last night's concert.

I live too far from civilization to see anyone but the lamest country and western bar bands.
