but that was only to promote his book.. Lou's signature issue has always been "brown people" and their rampant desire to come to america.. He and pat Buchanan are interchangeable on that issue..

Lots of dems feel betrayed by Lou, but he's just being who he always was.. a xenophobe.. Once his book was well-launched, he went right back to his pet issue(s)..

He tends to stumble onto the right (as in correct) issues through his strawman issue of immigration and xenophobia.

For instance, he got all hot and bothered a couple of weeks ago about a company from Venezuala buying a US voting tabulation company. His ire was raised by it being a foreign company -- from Commie Venezuala, no less.

But that led hin onto the real issue of privatization of elections, and he started covering it almost like he was a Duer.

Same thing has happened on a number of issues. His xenophobia led him to actually become one of the few in the MSM to start telling the truth about "free trade," outsourcing and corporate globaization.

Likewise, he got really pissed off that the Senate was paying so much attention to gay marriage instead of illegal immigration. He blasted the gay marriage amendment as the phony issue it was.

So half the time he makes me want to throw my shoe at the TV....The otehr half he has me cheering saying, "Thank God someone on television is finally talking about the reall issues."

that I wouldn't want to see on anybody coming into the US of A. So I guess I agree w/Dobbs as far as that goes. No pea greens! or green veils! or lavender veils or gray greens! Even the whites would freak me out a bit.
