The Republican Iraq Paradox
Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 09:17 PM by jsamuel
We will leave when everything is great in Iraq.

Things are great in Iraq.

We can't leave Iraq yet.

We will leave when everything is great in Iraq.

Things are great in Iraq.

We can't leave Iraq yet.

We will leave when everything is great in Iraq.

Things are great in Iraq.

We can't leave Iraq yet.

We will leave when everything is great in Iraq.

5. Free Saddam
I am convinced that Saddam has been incarcerated and rehabilitated enough to be released. If he signs a statement saying he will no longer flip the US the finger at every opportunity, then we should allow him to have his old job back. I bet he would jump at the offer. We can ship him several $billion to cover the damage deposit. Getting our troops out sounds like a simple buisness deal. I am surprised the slippery snakes in Washington haven't already thought of that.

7. How so?
I haven't heard that. I thought it was a perposterous idea on my part but also wish it would happen.
Iraq was in no position to threaten anyone before we got there, as we were led to believe. But that isn't why we're there anyway is it?

8. They say things on TV like...
What Iraq needs is someone who will put their foot down and control the country... kinda like Saddam. (O'Reilly said this the other night)
