What Would George W. Bush Be Doing Right Now If He Were
... NOT President?

Has anyone ever wondered what Bush would be doing if the Supreme Court had not selected him in 2000? I mean, literally, what would Bush be doing so far as a job? What would he be doing every day to bide his time? (What would he have been doing for the past six years?)

Can you picture what a typical day would be for George if he were not in the White House? His mornings, his afternoons? And so on.

I think the answer to this question really says a lot about why things are the way they are in this country.

4. Spending many days in the ER having pretzels removed from his throat.
When at home, he'd probably just be drinking and snorting. For all we know, he's doing exactly that anyhow.

7. pacing in a jail cell, avoiding (or maybe making a beeline for)
the showers

because without the last name of "*" and a "birthright" of a fortune, he'd be a career criminal because he's such a f**k-up, he couldn't make a go of an honest job. He's too stupid and irresponsible even to clean toilets or dig ditches. He'd certainly never be left alone with cleaning chemicals or heavy equipment. And, as a criminal, he's too stupid to get away with it. Time will prove I am right in his current situation. He thinks he has "gotten away with it" now but he is wrong.

8. He would have been packed off quietly to a sanitarium
One of those places where very rich families stash their insane relatives. I rather imagine Georgie in seersucker tie-pants (snaps are hard) and polo shirt, finger painting or watching "Barney," or maybe looking at picture books.

9. What his brother Neil is doing...
and the same thing he was doing before he became gov. of Texas; trading on his name and his perceived influence. Making lots of sweetheart deals. You know, like the Texas Rangers scam, put 600K in get back 15M in just a couple of years.

The worst part is, that the asshole would actually think he was "workin' hard, workin' hard", for his money.

11. He might be fundraising for the GOP
but he'd be spending most of his time at his favorite rich men's "hunting lodge" between Dallas and Houston, slapping backs and swapping lies.

That's his element, and it was rather cruel of his parents to remove him from it.

16. Running for his third term as the best Texas governor, ever
Don't forget that the little prick was down here fucking us over in preparation for taking his shit nationwide. If he couldn't have soiled national politics, he would have remained ensconced in power in Texas along with buddies like Delay, Cronyn and Hutchison.

And biding his time until he could bring to fulfillment the desires of the PNAC.

18. The Resume Of George W. Bush
LAW ENFORCEMENT:
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days.
My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

MILITARY:
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL.
I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use.
By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.
COLLEGE:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
I ran for U.S. Congress and lost.
I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975.
I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.
I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.
With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS:
I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union.
During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.
I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.
With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

28. Bush's Next Job
So he's the biggest disaster ever to hit this country, Bush still needs a job after his second term as president is over. I know he's been in semi-retirement since he took office anyway, and he does have that ranch, but can he really be content wielding an electric saw all day, every day, for the rest of his life?

I think we should find Bush a job before someone else does, and I have just the right position in mind. I think George W. Bush should be Iran's next president.

Don't laugh.

Right now, Bush is just about the most popular person in all of Iran. The mullahs love him; the people love him; the oil companies love him. For all I know, Karl Rove is already in Tehran designing campaign strategy while the rest of the world is busy talking about nuclear weapons and what not.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose authority supercedes that of all other clerics and officials, elected or not, takes his orders from a "higher power", i.e. God. So does Bush, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
