Gen. George Casey, commanding general of U.S. forces in Iraq, may recommend reducing troop levels in Iraq by up to two brigades -- an estimated 6,000 to 10,000 troops -- by year's end, military sources tell CNN.

3. You got it; right before November. I don't see things improving
in Iraq, so I wonder what their reasoning will be?

10. So rotating the troops is a big favor?
Even in World War II troops rotated to some degree. This isn't hardly any news at all--except that whatever bad things happen afterwards will be blamed on the dems for "pressuring" Bush to withdraw troops.

13. That's a given. All anti-war and withdrawal advocates will be blamed
for the aftermath of invading a country based on lies.

11. they'll put on a good show of it...
act like they're drawing down...talk about it and maybe even bring some home. After the elections, they'll put troop levels back to where they were.

If I hear 'stay the course' one more time I'm going to scream.
