Wonder why Bush wasn't at today's USA World Cup match?

I mean after all, it was played right near where he is. Right nearby in Nuremberg. I wonder why he wouldn't want to go THERE?

Edited for tense (now that the game is over)

1. My guess is security
but if he'd really wanted to go, it would have been arranged.

You know soccer is a sissy sport, not nearly as manly as cheerleading for a rugby team in prep school.

2. Actually, I'd be surprised - even if he wanted to attend - if they would

be able to pull off THAT high a level of security in such a crowded stadium (full of boisterous soccer fans).

But I was also thinking that he might have stayed away 'cause maybe he had heard that certain war crimes trials were held there. And that might make him a trifle uncomfortable. Then again, I'm probably overestimating him - he's probably never heard of Nuremburg. He probably wouldn't even know about it if it were written about in the headline of a PDB (to take a random example).

5. My brain hurts from all the wondering Blue. How long before it
all implodes (rhetorical question)? I feel we are all flying by the seat of boosh's(on fire)pants. Never thought I'd live to see our country turn third world.
