And we all better "deal with it." Political writer Steve Hoffman has an editorial in today's Beacon that says that we all better get over our conspiracy theories and do a better job reaching the voters of Ohio.
But that was yesterday and yesterday's gone
Ohio wasn't `stolen' in 2004. Deal with it
By Steve Hoffman, Beacon Journal editorial writer
Before we actually invaded the place, ``Afghanistanism'' was a term used by journalists to describe how the tone and substance of stories, editorials and columns tend to shift the greater the distance between writer and event. Thus, one may thunder at will about goings-on in some remote location without much fear of confrontation and contradiction. Move closer to home, and greater care with facts and balance usually prevails.
The term just begins to capture the flaws in a recent Rolling Stone article by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about the 2004 presidential election. His central premise (which will be two years old in November) is that John Kerry lost because Republicans rigged the vote in Ohio, the state that gave George W. Bush the electoral votes he needed to win a second term.
Maybe Kennedy should have spent more time in Ohio and less on the Internet.

http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/news/editorial/14875188.htmI wonder how Kennedy would feel about the advice to spend more time in Ohio and less time on the internet? I read the Rolling Stone article, and Kennedy DID spend lots of time in Ohio. hmmmmm ....
Just wanted to let you all know that the msm in Ohio is ready to investigate!!! Only when the Republican party gives them permission, however. :sarcasm:
