Geraldo:" seen more combat than Kerry last 35 years, he aids&abets terra"
Edited on Sun Jun-25-06 09:40 AM by Notoverit

Claiming he's "seen a hell of a lot more combat" in last 35 years than Kerry, Geraldo Rivera accused Kerry of "aid and abet the enemy"

Summary: Geraldo Rivera claimed that "in the last 35 years, I've seen a hell of a lot more combat" than Sen. John Kerry, adding that Kerry's Senate amendment to redeploy U.S. troops from Iraq by July 2007 "only aids and abets the enemy."

3. US Army shipped Geraldo out of Iraq in 2003 as he was revealing troops
location on the air.
As for "seeing combat" - I logged a hell of a lot more hours on History Channel than Rivera.

5. Just use his name
I wouldn't even know who you were talking about if I didn't know what the thread was about. What does all this fake name nonsense do, anyway? None of them are funny, none of them say anything significant. They aren't satire. They just look dump. Rush Limbaugh started all this crap with his radio show, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let him set my agenda.

Sorry, not directed at you. I just hate that whole trend. You don't have to agree, I just had to get it out of my system. Carry on. Great post, anyway! :)

13. Wake Up America...ROFLMAO
Great Cheech y Chong reference.

Of course Geraldo will go down as one of the great journalists in his own mind. :sarcasm:

But he did find empty bottles of mass consumption in Al Capone's valut (sheepish smile...tap dancing off the set...)

6. Depends on who he thinks the enemy is, I guess.
If the enemy of Fox News and the Republicans is the people of the United States, then Geraldo is right.

9. When he's not revealing attack plans on national television
He's discovering the treasures of Al Capone's secret vault.

Could he be more of a clown? Isn't Geraldo old enough to have been in Vietnam? And why was a healthy man like him not signed up for ground forces?

12. Maybe we can arrange for Bush to give him a Freedom Medal.
Seeing as Rivera doesn't qualify for any military awards, as he has never served, maybe Bush can give Faux War Hero Rivera a Freedom Medal?

Disgusting idiot.

14. He's also probably smoked more pot in the past 35 years........
than John Kerry too. And he's got it on video (thanks crooks -n- liars):

This may not really be a bad thing, but if Geraldo is going to play the credibility card.....

15. Someone just tell him
that John Lennon and Bobby Kennedy would be SO ashamed of him if they could see him now. He was friends with Lennon and worked with Kennedy on exposing the abuse and neglect in the NY mental hospitals. Yes, he was once a REAL journalist.

And just stand back and watch his mustache bristle and his eyes bug...

What a travesty he's become.

19. Well, he has his ASS up his HEAD--he REALLY DOES!!!!
Geraldo continued throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s to capitalize on his the sensational aspects of his reputation. He inserted himself into the talk show narrative often using his own exploits and bodily desires to fill out the issue at hand. In a show on plastic surgery, Rivera had fat sucked from his buttocks and injected into his forehead in a procedure to reduce wrinkles. A few years later, in another procedure, he had his eyes tucked on the show....
