The GOP don't want to WIN this fight, they just want to HAVE it. It's like a friken Kabuki theater exercise, stylized as hell, a lot of flash and shrieking, but when the show's over, that's that.

This way they can say that Democrats hate the flag, they love it, and they're the VICTIMS. Boo fucking hoo.

Love to know who on the GOP side voted no--probably the ones who aren't standing for reelection this time around.

11. I heard Uber-weasel Mitch McConnell
say he was voting against it. If that doesn't show anyone that cares that it was a farce then nothing will. McConnell would vote for his own execution of they wanted him to. I haven't seen choreography like that since Paula Abdul was a Laker Girl.

What they shoud make an ammendent to is making the flag in the good old USA . And what about the uniforms the troops die in , who makes these , I'll bet they are not made here and if not why not ?

I could care less if anyone burns a flag , as long as the polyester fumes don't flow in my windows .
