Lets take a peak at what dear old Dad is up to:

Perry joined the Department of Justice as acting Associate Attorney General (the Department’s third-ranking official), overseeing five DOJ legal units. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, Perry also advised the Attorney General on issues relating to the government response and the War on Terrorism and the Victims Compensation Fund. He then moved to the White House to be General Counsel for the Office of Management and Budget. Among his tasks was drafting the blueprint for the new Department of Homeland Security.

In 2003, he left the DOJ and returned to Latham & Watkins as a full partner, where he joined their Homeland Security practice group, lobbying the Department of Homeland Security on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. His Latham salary reportedly topped $700,000. In 2005 he was nominated to his present position as General Counsel for the Department of Homeland Security. DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff is a former colleague at Latham

I'm also disappointed in some of the comments i see here too. We talk about freepers attacking democrats personally like this, yet you turn around and do the same? The thread is about them having a new grandchild, not about his politics.

Dick and Lynne actually both look genuinely happy in this picture. They usually don't look very happy in public.

She's the only one producing grandkids for the family, so she's in overdrive, I guess..

They have the income to support all those kids, so why not?

Too bad the poor, defenseless little kid is going to have to grow up in that family. It really is cute in that baby sort of way.

Can you imagine family gatherings where your grandpa was Dick Cheney? Hearing him say "Come here, sit on grandpa's lap" with that creepy sneer? :scared:

My kids think Cheney is the scariest person ever.
